Why is the weight of the bike so important?
A heavy bike is to a child as a truck is to an adult. Our bikes are 40% lighter than conventional children's bikes. This means: Your child can control the bike much more easily, start moving faster and doesn't get frustrated on inclines.
Are the wheels stable enough despite their low weight?
Absolutely. We use over 10 years experience in bike design to build frames that are light as a feather and yet extremely robust. Each model is over Tested intensively with children for 100 hours, to ensure it can withstand any adventure.
What does “ergonomic” mean for your children’s bikes?
It means we don't just shrink adult bikes down to size. Our bikes are built to fit children's physiques perfectly - for an upright sitting position, optimal power transfer and more freedom on two wheels.
Do accessories from other brands fit an ACADEMY bike?
We recommend our own accessories as they are too 100% compatible and the weight of the bike is not unnecessarily increased. Our features are smartly thought outso that everything fits together perfectly and can be easily assembled.
How do I find the right size for my child?
Choose the bike according to the age group and body size. Because our bikes grow with you, they offer long driving fun. Due to the low weight, children often immediately feel safe even on a slightly larger model.
