frame
The weight of a bike has a significant influence on the fun and enthusiasm of children. A good children's bike is only a good children's bike if it is really light and optionally adaptable! With lightweight frames and components, we achieve this goal with our Academy Bikes and even go one step further. The lowered top tube offers a low step-through height, making it easier for children to get on and off.

Q factor
The Q factor describes the width of the cranks and plays an important role when it comes to the efficiency of the pedaling movement. Ideally, the Q factor on the bike should match the rider's pedaling distance. A small Q factor is more ergonomic, while a Q factor that is too large forces the legs into an X position when pedaling. Ergonomically correct, round pedaling is hardly possible. The result: knee pain, rapid fatigue and reaching the performance limit more quickly. The ACADEMY bikes offer one of the smallest Q factors and are therefore optimally tailored to children's pedaling.
